About the role

In this role, you will organise resources effectively and coordinates necessary activities to ensure efficient, productive and risk-free operations during assigned shifts. Provides effective supervision and promotes positive teamwork within Al Maha Services.

Communicate planning and operational requirements for all departments within the Hub and provide constant support to the Airport Services team with assistance provided to all relevant areas that follow through Customer Experience within Al Maha Services.

Reports issues arising from situations and address them within minimum downtime.

 

Specific responsibilities for the role include:

Supervise and coordinate activities and list out instructions and directions to junior staff within Al Maha Services ensuring that service delivery to customers is maintained at a high level.
Ensures visual appearance of operations is of the highest standard by ensuring service area is clean and tidy and re-decoration or re-arrangements are made frequently keeping with the standards and values of the department.
Present a professional, welcoming first contact towards all customers accessing Al Maha Services by phone, in person, and email.
Provide support to colleagues, by providing accurate and up to date information on various topics related to operational changes, roster, flight allocation, sick reports and over time. Allowing for efficient passenger management.
Communicates effectively with all areas of the operation ensuring that there are no delays or delivery of standard or set services, ensure that all provisions and amenities are available and necessary stocks are maintained in order to carry out exemplary service.
Concise coordination with outsourced service providers for all pre-planned and non-planned operations.
First contact for escalation and managing conflict resolution and facilitate service recovery situations faced by customers without causing disruption to other services, ensure that such cases a dealt with in a smooth and streamlined manner.
Compiles operational reports for the attention of management and ensures appropriate administrative records are maintained.
Provides guidance and assistance to employees in relation to administrative matters and employment conditions.
Ensure all communication related memos and notices are displayed for references in a timely manner by managing and maintaining all notice boards.
Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the DM/Line Manager. Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications
About you

The candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

Minimum High School, Vocational, Tertiary or Trade qualification.
At least 4 years’ Supervisory experience within airline, airport, hospitality services industry.
Good command of English language both oral and written.
Exceptional multi-tasking skills and confidant in prioritising tasks related to safety, efficiency and service delivery of Al Maha Services.
Ability to process and work with confidential information, self-manage assignments.
